Puppy Training Course

Puppy Foundations Course
7 weeks | Small groups | Real world training

The Puppy Foundations Course is a 7-week programme designed to give your puppy the practical skills they need for everyday life, while helping you feel confident and supported from the very start.

Training focuses on calm behaviour, confidence building, impulse control, appropriate socialisation, recall, loose lead walking and settling, all taught in a way that translates beyond the classroom.

Course Structure
-
Week 1. Humans only foundations session.
A theory based session without puppies, covering how dogs learn, key terminology (including marker words and recall cues), puppy development, play, enrichment and settling. This allows you to ask questions freely and feel prepared before practical training begins. -
Weeks 2–6. Practical training sessions.
Hall based sessions focused on real life skills, delivered in a calm, supportive environment with individual guidance throughout. -
Week 7. Graduation (real-world practice).
A short walk to practice learned skills, followed by calm settling in a pub environment to help bridge the gap between training and everyday life.
